Jordan Cogburn formed Land Use Advantage (LUA) Consulting in Eugene, Oregon, in order to assist a broad range of clients in addressing complex land use planning and project management issues.
For more than a decade, Jordan has provided leadership in land use and project management in both the public and private sector, and has established LUA Consulting in order to deliver creative, locally tailored and cost-conscious solutions to public, private and non-profit clients. He has earned the respect of regulators, advocacy groups and local communities throughout the southern Willamette Valley through authentic, respectful, and direct engagement.
Jordan has an extensive background in: development code creation, administration and compliance across multiple jurisdictions; presenting to and participating in public forums, meetings and hearings; and, managing multifaceted and often contentious projects with limited resources. Jordan is passionate about creative problem solving and effective strategies to address a variety of development opportunities.
Throughout Jordan's land use career, he has consistently produced well-founded, defensible, and clear land use deliverables. He excels in comprehending overall development goals, aligning them with market demands and resource availability. His strength lies in cultivating enduring and meaningful partnerships with clients, public agencies, and industry collaborators, contributing to the success of each project.
At LUA, he combines both public sector community stewardship and accountability with private sector skill and efficiency to create timely and innovative solutions for public, residential, commercial and industrial developments.
